Chemo Support is designed to assist dogs and humans going through chemotherapy and related toxicities. The amount of toxins used in chemotherapy and the build up of these toxins can cause side effects such as, bone marrow suppression, alopecia, and gastrointestinal toxicity. Gastrointestinal toxicity can cause nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea. Fever and sepsis can also be experienced due to good flora and bacteria in the gut being destroyed. Dogs undergoing chemotherapy have been known to die from the side effects of treatment.
